FarmsToMarket connects farmers, buyers and transporters through our website and mobile applications. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
Account information you provide (name, phone number, email address, organisation). Transaction and delivery records created when you trade on the platform. Device information such as model, operating system and app version. Location information when you use our geolocation features.
How we use your information
To operate the marketplace: creating accounts, matching offers with buyers, processing and securing payments, generating delivery documents, and providing support. We also use aggregated data to improve prices and forecasts.
Payments
Payments are processed by regulated payment providers and mobile money operators. We never store your full bank or mobile money credentials on our servers.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary with the counterparties involved in a transaction (a buyer sees a producer's listings and grading data, a transporter sees the pickup and drop-off details), with payment and logistics providers, and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Transaction and accounting records are kept for the period required by Cameroonian commercial law. Other data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.
Cookies
Our website stores your language preference and your cookie choice locally in your browser. The mobile applications do not use advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to us and we will respond within thirty days.
Children
Our services are intended for adults aged eighteen or over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this page. The date at the top always reflects the latest version.
